Start by downloading the appropriate installation file to your computer. The swine calculator may take approximately one hour to download.
*For users with Microsoft Access® 2000 or higher, download the standalone version. You can determine which Access version you have by launching Access, and selecting "About Microsoft Access" under the "Help" section.
** For users without Microsoft Access, download the Access 2003 Runtime version.
*** If you have one of the supported Microsoft Access versions installed, do not download the Runtime version of the swine or silage calculators.
- Double click on the file that you've downloaded. This will extract the setup program and save it to your hard drive in the location that you specify. Remember this location; you will need it for the next step.
- Locate the setup files that were extracted in step 1 and double click on the setup.exe file.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to install the calculator to your computer.
- The swine efficiency calculator that you've installed will now be part of your start menu. Click on the start menu, select "programs" and then select your calculator.
