A ‘dairy’ big Thanksgiving thank you

November 24th, 2010 by Karlie Justus

The Thanksgiving holiday is a great time to stop for a moment and thank our partners, producers and agriculture community. Here are a few we would like to thank:

  • The dairy producers and farmers who work hard to feed us everyday.
  • Nutritionists, veterinarians and other dairy professionals who support the dairy industry.
  • Our seed partners and our hard-working NutriDense and BASF Plant Science team.
  • Agriculture media.
  • Our Web Moo.0 winners Ashley Messing, Nancy Grossi and Marianne Friers, and contest partner the AgChat Foundation.
  • The active Twitter and Facebook “agvocate” community.

On Twitter? Keep the “thank yous” going all year by adding #foodthanks and #thankafarmer to your tweets to show your support. And while you’re there, check out @NutriDense for more agriculture, dairy and corn industry news.

Have a great holiday!

In celebration of National Ag Week, we’re featuring some “Ways to Say Thanks” to farmers across the country:

The ag community on Twitter is really strong. (New to the service? Progressive Dairyman has a great how-to tool on its site.) The site, which spreads information 140 characters at a time, has searchable keywords known as hashtags that help make information on Twitter sharable and searchable.

Share the Ag Week love by adding #thankafarmer to your tweets this week to show your support. And while you’re there, check out @NutriDense for more ag news.
